Your files never leave your device

SafeFileConvert is built so that we cannotsee your files. Every conversion, compression, and extraction runs inside your own browser using Web Workers. There is no upload step, no processing server, and no cloud storage — the site is a set of static pages, and your files travel no further than your device's memory. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's network panel while using any tool and you will see no request carrying file data.

What we store

The only thing the site stores on your device is a single localStorage entry remembering your light/dark theme choice. We do not use accounts, and we never receive the contents, names, or metadata of the files you process. When you close the tab, nothing about your session remains anywhere except the files you chose to download.

Hosting and advertising

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) to operate the service. Reserved advertising placements on the site may in the future be served by a third-party ad network with its own privacy policy; ads never have access to your files, which stay inside the browser sandbox. If we adopt an ad or analytics provider, this page will be updated to name it.

Because the tools never receive your files, there is normally no personal data for us to return or erase, but every request gets a written answer.
